Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking

Bradford Swissport is committed to supporting the eradication of human trafficking across all aspects of BSL and its associated supply chain. BSL looks to report on measures, actions and policy improvements to ensure that all parts of our business and supply chain are slavery free. The creation of a dedicated Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy serves to summarise those commitments. Our Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy demonstrates our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in the business, its partners and across the supply chains.

Environment and Sustainability

Waste is the by-product of bad design. We, at Bradford-Swissport Limited, believe strongly in reducing waste and so have championed many sustainability efforts in our various operations around the world. Leading the conceptualization of the Central Recycling Centre concept; we have implemented numerous firsts in the aviation industry such as central recycling of waste cooking oils, conversion of recycled oils into bio-fuels for powering airport ground vehicles, to the central recycling of cardboard/corrugated paper products, to a paperless operations standard deployed worldwide. Furthermore, on November 14th of 2012, the ribbon cutting ceremony for the potentially the first Consolidation Centre on the planet to be LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) GOLD certified was opened. Our work at our newest airport Consolidation Centre at Heathrow (LHR HCC) is poised to set the Global Standard for Sustainability and Operational excellence for the industry.

Our entire employee team are leaders in their field and continue to innovate and help make the planet a better place for us all. The collective energies of each individual within each commercial enterprise comprise one of the most powerful forces of good on Earth. To this end, our company is investing in partnership with Virgin Unite to leverage business as a force of good. The role and mission of the modern business must start with higher purpose and everything else is a by-product of that pinnacle principle.
